kMy name is Joseph C. Smith, born and raised in Los Angeles California, Married with two children. I graduated in 1994 from George Mason University, obtaining a MAS degree in Computer Science. I am currently seeking to work for an organization that recognizes and rewards hard work and creativity. My technical strengths are listed below.

I have worked for a large telecommunications company for the last seven years, gradually working my way up to a Task Lead position. I currently manage a group of ten programmers, and report directly to the company's CTO. I consider myself very easy to work with, a team player and a person who is willing to listen and learn. Managed all aspects of new product R&D. Involved in all phases of
telecommuncation product development, from from analysis to testing,
to production.

Technical Consultants (From 2/96 to 4/98)

Engineering Consultant

Worked with Fortune 500 clients, advising on telecommunication
implementation stratagies. Later worked with the CEO of BigNet Inc.,
and came up with the winning plan which helped launch the multi-million
dollar telecommunications product, NetJet.

 

John Hopkins University (6/95 - 2/96)

Network Engineer

Provided LAN support. Implemented new LAN configurations. Maintained
network servers and installed PC equipment throughout the main campus.

 

Special Projects
